Product information for Excedrin Migraine: Application of Excedrin Migraine: Excedrin can be used for the acute treatment of headaches and migraine attacks (symptoms such as, for example, headache, nausea and hypersensitivity to light and sound).Composition of Excedrin Migraine: Each tablet contains:Acetylsalicylic acid 250 mg Paracetamol 250 mg Caffeine 65 mg Usage of Excedrin Migraine: For the treatment of headache:Take 1 tablet with a full glass of water when the headache comes on. If necessary, take 1 more tablet 4 to 6 hours later. For more severe pain, take 2 tablets with a full glass of water when the headache comes on. If necessary, take another 1-2 tablets 4 to 6 hours later. Do not use Excedrin for headache for more than 4 days without consulting your doctor. For the treatment of migraine:Take 2 tablets with a full glass of water when migraine symptoms or migraine aura appear. If necessary, you can take 2 more tablets with 4 to 6 hours between intakes. If your migraine does not improve within 2 hours of the first dose of 2 tablets of Excedrin, you should consult a doctor. Do not use Execedrin for migraine for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor. Do not use more than 6 tablets in 24 hours to treat headache or migraine. This is equivalent to 1500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, 1500 mg of paracetamol and 390 mg of caffeine. Prolonged use, unless under medical supervision, may be harmful.
